Grand Canyon National Park,
          South Rim in the Rain  
The weather of the Grand Canyon varies greatly. The temperature ranges from above 100 degrees Fahrenheit to below freezing. Adverse weather conditions do not mean the views of the Canyon will be poor for the Canyon just takes on a different personality, as here in the rain misty, brooding.
You can see the rain as it appears in veils and drifts along the canyon constantly changing what it hides and what it lets be seen.
The Canyon walls take on a mysterious look and seem to appear out of the haze while the  River  refects the misty sky from below.
No longer the great wide Canyon lying before you under cloud filled blue skies but something no less beautiful in it's cloak of ever changing mist.
